Screen Time / Family Sharing not updating on parent iPhone (child shows signed in, parent says signed out)

Hi everyone,

I’m having issues with Parental Controls / Screen Time / Find My in Family Sharing.

Devices / iOS

Parent device: iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 26.2.

Child device: iPhone 14, (latest iOS available on that device)

Family Sharing + Screen Time has been working for ~1.5 years.

What works

Restrictions on my child’s iPhone are active. If I change limits/restrictions from my phone, the changes do apply on his device (confirmed by checking his iPhone directly).

What’s broken (only on parent view)

On my parent iPhone, Screen Time shows a message like my child has been signed out / deactivated for over a week. On my phone, his Screen Time activity is blank (no activity, no data). Location sharing / Find My: I cannot see or track his location from my phone.

What I already tried

Restarted both phones.

Checked both are on Wi-Fi and signed into iCloud.

Signed out / signed back in to iCloud on both devices (didn’t help).

Turned off Stolen Device Protection temporarily on both devices (didn’t help).

Verified restrictions still work on the child device.

Question

Has anyone seen this where the child’s phone is clearly signed in and restrictions apply, but the parent device shows the child as signed out and stops showing Screen Time activity + location?

What steps fixed it (re-invite family member, reset Screen Time sync, iCloud settings, Find My settings, etc.)?
