Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Apple Cash, and all other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.

The merchant controls the refund. Once the merchant actually transfers the funds, they will be debited from the merchants bank account and be credited to the account you used to make the payment. Apple is not a bank and is not involved in the refund process.

When the merchant issued the refund, an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) was created. It may be on your receipt or you can request it from the merchant. Give the number to the support team at your credit card bank and they can trace the refund. If it’s late, the merchant hasn’t transferred the funds yet.
