What does resetting icloud mean?
If you were syncing to the cloud look here Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support and here If you're missing photos or videos in the Photos app - Apple Support (IE)
IF you weren't syncing them to the cloud and have been doing this How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support then you can recover photos from here Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
