iOS Alarm stops when briefly sliding up from Lock Screen

iOS 26.1 introduced a “slide to stop” for the alarm. I love this, because before I would regularly accidentally press the stop button while I was snoozing.

However, I noticed that this still happens sometimes, and I figured out why. Not only does the alarm stop when you use the slider to stop the alarm. The alarm is also stopped when you briefly slide up from the lock screen. Even with a gentle (unintended) slide up, without actually using faceID or unlocking the phone, the alarm is cancelled. This takes way less effort/distance than the actual slider. If this would only happen if you actually unlock/look at the phone, this would be less of an issue. But this now happens while trying to blindly press away my alarm. I don’t know if this works as intended, but it feels like a bug.
