iOS Alarm stops when briefly sliding up from Lock Screen

I run 26.3 and can't replicate this anymore. I would definitely upgrade iOS and try what that does for you. Here it does not activate FaceID, and when I use the volume button it goes in snooze.

Adjust how iPhone responds to your touch

It's been driving me crazy trying to figure out what's going on. I tried doing stuff with Face ID, but I realized that the alarms were disappearing while the phone was still in my pocket. I just came to the same understanding you did. I'm running iOS 26.4 and still dealing with this issue. Definitely feels like a bug.

Has anyone found a fix? This has been happening to me for about 2 weeks. It seems as if I touch anywhere on the screen other than the snooze box, the alarm turns off. So frustrating. I’m going to have to buy an actual alarm clock. 😅

Same for me. So sick of this. I like the concept of the new swipe to clear the alarm, but only if it would actually function that way. What’s the point of swipe to clear an alarm when an errand upward brush of the screen while you’re pulling it out of your pocket can also clear the alarm? So many times I accidentally clear an alarm on the way out of my pocket and then I have no idea what the alarm was for.

Did you ever find a fix or work around for this? This keeps happening to me as well and is kind of driving me crazy.

No results on my side either. I also run into issues with ShortCuts. Am now on 26.4(B2) so that might be the reason. Keep tinkering around.

This is maddening and no one seems to have a fix yet. I’m running 26.3.1. I’m adding my comment here in hope that Apple will address this obvious bug.
