The front camera of the iPhone 15 Pro Max does not work in low power consumption mode
Greetings! I am reaching out regarding an issue I am experiencing with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
When Low Power Mode was enabled, I attempted to switch from the main camera to the front-facing camera. At that point, the Camera application began to lag and subsequently crashed. Upon restarting the app, the front camera ceased to respond altogether. It is worth noting that Face ID continues to function properly (for instance, while video circles cannot be recorded in the Telegram application, Face ID setup in the settings remains operational — though I am unable to see my own face during the process).
This occurred while running iOS version 26.1. Unfortunately, updating to version 26.3 did not resolve the issue. A similar problem previously manifested on version 18.2; however, on that occasion, updating to version 18.7.4 restored camera functionality.
I do not have an Apple Care plan, nor are there any authorized Apple service providers available in my location.
