I’ve had a similar issue before, and this is how I solved it.
1. Force restart the iPad
- Quickly press and release Volume Up, then Volume Down, then hold the Top/Power button until you see the Apple logo.
- After it restarts, test a few of the problem apps again.
2. Update apps and iPadOS
- Open App Store > tap your profile > update all apps.
- Then go to Settings > General > Software Update and install any newer iPadOS build if available.
3. Reset only system settings (not data)
- Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings.
- This won’t delete your apps or files, but it resets things like Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and system preferences, which often clears post‑update glitches.
4. If certain apps still fail
- Delete one failing app, restart the iPad, then reinstall it from the App Store and test again.
- If many apps from the same developer or a specific type still don’t work, it may be a compatibility issue they need to fix in an update.
If none of this helps, I’d contact Apple Support or book a Genius Bar/authorized service so they can check logs and report this as a 26.2 issue.
