I use car play for my iPhone 15 Pro but since updating to ISO 26 I am unable to get voice directions while using Apple Maps.

You may want to check, and make sure Siri is turned on. Using CarPlay, or Eyes Free: hold down the voice-command button on your steering wheel while you make your request.
Else:
Wondering whether there may be a firmware update available for the vehicle's infotainment / stereo system. (.Eg: An update may be needed to keep the system compatible with the iPhone software.)
You may want to check for updates in the system itself, or check the vehicle's manual for firmware info., or check the vehicle-manufacturer's support / help website for possible firmware downloads.
Else: If you have recently updated the vehicle's system, and still have an issue with Maps.
