IOS26 causing iPad touchscreen to stop responding

Simple question

WHEN ARE APPLE GOING TO ADDRESS AND FIX THE ISSUE WITH IPADOS26 AND IPADS LOSING TOUCH CAPABILITY ON SCREENS

The fact that this is a known issue and has not been addressed as yet is a complete and utter joke

yes, I’m fully aware that if you force restart the device it temporarily fixes the issue but the fact you will likely need to do this 3-5 times A DAY is unacceptable.

My device was BRAND NEW when I stupidly installed IOS26 and the issues stared. Have installed all updates including IOS26.3 yesterday and have just had to force restart my device for the 3rd time so far today and it’s 2:30pm

Have taken it to Apple and the “geniuses” just say it’s a known issue and apple are working on resolving it.

Either fix the f’ing issue you have caused or approve a refund for all devices affected.

As I said I have already been to the Apple Store and spoken to a so called “genius” other than confirming Apple are aware of the issue and telling me to just to the hard restart they were no help at all.

online support the same thing

its pretty clear Apple has no intention of resolving this issue that seems to only affect the base model iPads.

just another example of apple’s arrogance and not giving a toss about it’s “basic” customers

not everyone can afford to buy the “pro” models of everything every other year.
