Logic Pro: 'bnc' on channel strips after bouncing

Mac mini M4 running MacOS 26.3

Logic Pro 12.0.1

After bouncing some tracks in a project, now I'm stuck with 'bnc' on every new Project, Track channel strip.

  1. Moving com.apple.logic10.plist to the desktop did not correct this issue.
  2. Mix menu, I/O Labels..., Reset the Output labels and no change.

The 'bnc' label does not appear anywhere in the Mix menu, I/O Labels...

See the screen shot below which shows Stereo Out, yet the channel strip label reads 'bnc'.

Honestly, I don't understand your issue, don't know what you are trying to achieve, and I think there is some confusion about the bounce button. It's correct, that the bounce button appears only on the stereo out channel strip, like in your picture. This "bounce" function applies to the entire project.

If you like to bounce only one track or one region, you could use either the context menu or go to File > Bounce ... . There you will find several bounce options. However, you need to place at least one region on a track in the main window.

Alternatively you have also many "export" options too.

In the screenshot above I opened a new project, with no intent to bounce any tracks.

I don't remember seeing the 'bnc' label on every track in every new project before bouncing some tracks in another project yesterday. Has this 'bnc' label always been the default in every new project and I'm just getting forgetful?

Thanks for responding, Ben. Maybe I got us both confused?!
