RME Fireface 800 not recognized

Hey all,

I just went to start some recording and when I click on the general settings in Logic X, I don't even see an option to select an interface??? What the ....??! Sometimes my MAC loses my RME and I have to tell it to go back to it.... no big deal but this time it's just gone. And I know the thing is a dinosaur but it works amazing and the sound quality is second to none IMO and I've been doing this a long time.

Works fine in Garage Band and everything else but not in logic. Anyone know if there was an update a few days ago?? I usually manually upgrade too so it's so weird.

Thanks,

Marlon

Selecting an Audio Interface is usually found under Audio, not General.

Try this first, open the Computers System Preferences/Sound set built-in-audio for both In/Output, opr Logic go to Preferences/Audio and set the RME to both In/Output. Logic now has exclusive use of the RME.

Any better?
