iPad screen is black but Siri is working

Help- only a black screening ipdad

My iPad screen is completely black but Siri is working. How can i get my screen on? I’ve rebooted to no avail & I’ve asked Siri to make sure dark mode is off. What can I do?

If your iPad screen is not displaying an image, the screen or its backlight may have failed.


You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assist test and assess your iPad. If a fault that cannot be resolved is identified, you'll be in the best possible place to explore your available options:
