Need to know why iPad m5 chip does not show photo capture icon while video taping

You may take a screenshot with your iPad while recording a video. That involves the volume up button.

However, no iPad can capture photos while recording video as the iPhone can.

If it is only single lens then why I can only take photos while taking video with volume up button

so it has to have the photo capture as used to have on older iPads while taking video as aldi we can take the same in the iPhone

I think Apple has not updated this feature in this newer iPads

What does “photo capture icon” mean exactly?

Do you not see the small green dot in the upper right of the screen indicating your iPad camera is being used?

I wanted to take photo while taking video at the same time so I phones have have white photo capture icon but not in I pad m5 chip

You can only do this if the camera has multiple cameras. The iPad has only a single camera.
