Cannot freeze header columns in Numbers on MacBook Air

Hello

i have a MacBook Air 13 inch early 2015 running macOS Monterey 12.7.6

i am working in Numbers and trying to "Freeze Header Columns" I follow the procedure and click Freeze Header Columns, but the column is not frozen

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.7

Do you have any header columns? You can turn on "freeze header columns" whether you have any or not but it only works on header columns not regular columns. One way to tell is to click on the table, go to the Table tab in the sidebar on the right, and see how many header columns the table has.
