iPad (5th gen) 16.7.14: Specific app link not working

I am running a 5th gen iPad with the 16.7.14 software. Given the age of the iPad I am unable to update the software beyond this version. The specific issue that I have relates to a fishing management app that I use for kayak tournament fishing. On one of the apps pages, there is a link that would normally take me the apps Home Page. However when I use it, it doesn’t work. Interestingly I able to access other links on the menu but not this specific one. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, shutting down the iPad, clearing history, closing all running background apps and even did a factory reset on the iPad but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.
