Can't access HBO Max purchased through iPhone when not at home

I purchased HBO Max through my phone. I have an active subscription I can see under "Subscriptions," and it is debited from my bank account as "RECURRING PAYMENT AUTHORIZED ON [date] APPLE.COM/BILL 866-712-7753 CA." It works on my home TV. I am traveling and would like to use it on my laptop, but I can't log in through HBO Max because HBO Max doesn't recognize my email. I tried logging into Apple TV, but it doesn't give me an HBO Max option. I tried logging in through my cable provider, but that didn't work either. What am I missing? How can I watch HBO Max purchased through my iPhone? When I contacted HBO Max for support, they said to contact Apple.

How are you logged in on the App on your iPhone? I assume it works on the iPhone.

You can open the HBO Max app on the iPhone tap on your user icon at the top right, then on Account to see what email address its expecting.

You should be using that account to log in on your Laptop.

Also, how are you trying to log in on your laptop? Are you tyring to access the HBO Max website on your laptop or are you trying to log in through some App?

Do note, there is no official HBO Max app for Mac.

If you are out of the country, the website may default to the local country's webiste for HBO Max and not have record of your account there.

Thanks for trying to help. It does not work on my phone either, which is super frustrating. I know I have HBO Max associated with my Apple ID because that is how I pay for it. But I can't access it using the email I use for Apple. HBO has no record of my email address, which is just baffling.

To answer your other questions: I'm trying to log in to the HBO Max website on my laptop. I am not out of the country, though that's a good question.
