My relative’s iPhone 13 Pro Max has gone into a green screen. It is unresponsive, and you cannot see anything on it. Just green…. The iOS is the latest. Can anybody help?
I understand this is a widespread issue, but does anybody know what it is? Is it a hack? Apple please reach out to me.

It is far from widespread, but some devices, close to failing, tend to fail during or soon after an update due to thermal stress..
First try forced restart https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/force-restart-iphone-iph8903c3ee6/ios
and if it is still green, take or send it to Apple for a repair estimate.
