Apple Pencil charging area bent and cracked

Help! My Apple Pencil got caught in my drawer and unfortunately the area where I charge it is slightly bent and has a crack. Is this easily fixable or would I have to replace my Pencil as a whole. Opening is also scaring me because I can feel that the cover is out of place.

Yeah that doesn’t look great. If the charging connector housing is bent and the plastic sleeve is cracked or lifting, it’s usually not something you can properly fix. The internals are really compact in there, so once it’s bent, it can mess with charging or even short out later.

You could try gently snapping the cover back into place, but I wouldn’t force it. If it’s separating and feels loose, replacement is probably the safer move. Apple doesn’t really repair Pencils, they usually just swap them.
