You locate the older version of Pages in the Finder Window's Application side bar and then drag and drop it on the Trash. Then empty the Trash. It is a self-contained application, so only the new Pages application will remain. All prior Pages documents are readily compatible and openable with the new Pages.

When I attempt to move an old version of Pages 14.5 into try to get a pop-up box that says I cannot move pages trash because it is open. But I’m not seeing that page is open and when I go to activity monitor under finder and search for pages it’s not showing anything though it leads to believe that Pages is not open or it’s hiding that it’s open this old version 14.5. So how do I get rid of Remove and trashed the old version of Pages so that I can only work on the new version? Thank you.
