M2 Mac mini dark after power cycle, keyboard restart?

The M2 Mini runs well until it is forced to cycle the power, at which point the system remains dark until the AC power is physically cycled. Are there keyboard commands to cycle the power (as CRL+Del+Alt on Linux)?

Mac mini, macOS 15.7

Full Computer Sleep Mode is causing a problem for some setups.

As a test

Turn On "Prevent automatic sleeping when display is off"

Set "Turn display off when inactive" to 5 or 10 minutes

Leave the Mac Mini On and only allow the display(s) to turn Off

Do not manually Sleep from the Apple Drop Down menu

Shut Down the Mac mini when away for a day or more

Please explain how and why you are forced to cycle the power...?

Why are cycling power instead of using Restart.. or Shut Down.. from the Apple Drop Down Menu..?

Have a look at > Shut down or restart your Mac

What display are you using and how is it connected to the Mac mini..?

There are several known issues that can cause the display to say dark after a startup, restart or sleep.

The display turns off after a preset interval with no activity. Sometimes (not everytime) it then remains dark after keyboard action.

Usually it wakes up, but not always.

When the display is off, it's hard to select controls/menus! In fact, the keyboard is unresponsive, and after recovery there is no record of previous keyboard inputs on the screen. Not sure about the 'hold power switch on for 10sec' idea, I must try that.

I find that a USB keyboard is usable in this situation whereas the usual bluetooth apple keyboard isn't.
