Group chat messages not sending on iOS 26.3

Thank you! Turning off RCS & re-enabling it solved this for me too. iOS 26.3. My phone was placed in Airplane mode for a flight, then when I came out of airplane mode, none of my RCS group chats were working. This fixed it. I think it’s a bug related to airplane mode and possibly fixed in 26.3.1

I had the same issue that seemed to coincide with upgrading to iOS 26.3.

Go into settings, then apps, then messages.

scroll to RCS messaging and turn it off, then back on again. That fixed it for me.

One more comment. I am usually connected to NordVPN. I have to turn off Wi-Fi completely to return back to RCS messaging. Once I connect to Wi-Fi, it reverts to SMS messaging. If I turn off my VPN and connect to Wi-Fi, it appears to work but that negates the benefits of being on a VPN.

Either take it to the carrier or call them to troubleshoot.

I installed 26.3 the day it came out, no issue sending group imessage or MMS.

So not a result of 26.3.
