Siri response control with multiple Apple devices

I just have a question for clarification. I am about to make the move away from Amazon Alexa to Apple Home. My big question is now, when I ask Siri to do something, and there are several Apple devices with Siri within voice range, how do you control which one responds? Or is that even a problem with Apple Home? The reason I ask is in my home office I will probably have 3 Apple devices on at any one time: my Mac Mini, my iPhone, and my iPad. I just don't want an electronic tug-o-war. I appreciate your experience as I am starting this migration.
