Map directions cutting off over Bluetooth

I recently got the iPhone 17 and anytime I’m using either Apple Maps or Google Maps over Bluetooth, it will cut off the majority of the directions. It will say something like ‘in 1 mile-‘ and then never finishes saying the directions. I never had this issue before I got this phone, and it has not worked properly since I switched. I have ‘play voice over Bluetooth’ selected for Google Maps and ‘directions pause spoken audio’ selected for Apple Maps. I even tried pausing whatever I’m listening to when I know I’m about to hear a direction and it still will not work. Is there any way to fix this?
