iPhone 17 Pro Max (Dubai) warranty/AppleCare+ in India

I hope you are doing well.


I recently purchased an iPhone 17 Pro Max (dual eSIM variant) from Dubai. This specific variant is currently not available for sale in India, and I am now using the device in India.


Before purchasing AppleCare+, I would like to confirm whether my device will be eligible for warranty service and AppleCare+ coverage in India. If the device is damaged or requires service in the future, will authorized service centers in India provide support under the standard warranty or AppleCare+ plan?


I kindly request you to confirm whether I can purchase AppleCare+ in India for this device and whether claims will be honored locally.

As other end users we can only speak from history and Apple's published documents.


Historically, both the Apple complimentary warranty and Apple extended warranties on mobile devices are valid only in the country where the DEVICE (not the extended warranty) was purchased. So a phone bought in Dubai is unlikely to have any warranty coverage in India.
