Copy and Paste Old Numbers to New Numbers, NOT

I just installed the new version of Numbers... with a pay option!!?? I attempted a copy and paste from the older version to this new one. Doesn't work. What was Apple thinking?!!! I had a Header Row I use and was setting up a new spreadsheet, wanting to use the same header row. I now have that header row on the new version because I entered the data by hand. This in MVHO is a must-fix before they issue the new version. Ooops, too late.

Yes, there is a known problem copying/pasting between Numbers 14.x and 15.1.

However, there are simple workarounds - for example, you can just open the source document in Numbers 15 and copy the data...there's no need to have both versions running, and the document formats are the same.

Can you explain what 'this' is?

Given what I posted, I'd infer that you're referring to the line:

'...just open the source document in Numbers 15'

which, at least for me, and the millions of other Numbers users, is absolutely something that works. I don't recall hearing of any problems with Numbers 15.x opening documents created in Numbers 14.x.

If that is the 'this' you're referring to, can you be more specific? How are you trying to open the documents? What happens when you try? Do you get an error message? what does it say?

If 'this' is something else, can you explain what it is?

Kind of need more to go on here...
