iPod mini not recognized by Mac, "Device could not be found

My Mac says ”The selected device could not be found”

Usually I connect my iPods to my Mac for example iPod video, classics, etc. But I tried my iPod mini 1 with 4 GB on it. I restored the iPod mini to be able to access it, but after that it says ”The selected device could not be found”. I’m currently running macOS 15.7.4 but I don’t want to upgrade to macOS Tahoe to fix this problem, I tried to restore it once again and it didn’t work, I tried restarting my mac, use different wires, didn’t work. Can someone help me to fix this problem?
