How to prevent photos from going to hidden folder

What do you mean by "going to hidden folder"?

Nothing would go into the Album named "Hidden" unless you manually hid that photo. In recent versions of the operating systems, some types of item may be suppressed in the Library display by some settings. (For example, if you have used the setting to suppress screenshots from the Library display, some photos taken with the camera my be misinterpreted as screenshots and thus suppressed.)

As markwmsn says, there is a filter button that looks kind of like a funnel, and you can choose which pictures are shown.

Unfortunately we don't know what device you are using, but this is what it looks like on a Mac:

You should also look at Collections>Utilities>Recently Saved.
