Phone camera app freezing after software update

"Phone camera app freezing after software update: Hi. I recently updated my phone to latest software and since then my camera won’t take picture or on the app. It keeps freezing. I have enough storage as I paid for this. Never had an issue before. Any advice please?"

Troubleshooting a Frozen Camera App:

B. Force Restart your iPhone:

B. Report this to Apple

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Hi Bockslower,

I understand that you paid for iCloud storage, however that does not physically increase the storage capacity of your iPhone. The physical storage capacity remains the same as the day you purchased the iPhone. Furthermore, cloud storage is not an extension or increased storage.

Can you double check the available storage space on your iPhone? Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here you can see your available storage space.

One other thing to do is to perform a Forced Restart.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
