Re: MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 15.6 :
How do i improve dictation accuracy across all devices?
Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.
I guess it is your choice whether you purchase professional software, or continue to use the free software Apple provides with our hardware purchases.
Apple also provides "Voice Control" an alternative to the regular dictation software.
Keeping the Operating System up-to-date on all devices may be one way to sidestep many of the issues that can arise. Updates and upgrades often include bug-fixes, or security updates, or new features, etc. You can check for updates in Settings (or System Settings for Mac) > General > Software Updates on your devices.
Eg: If you are still using MacOS 15.6, you may want to try updating to the latest version of MacOS Sequoia: What’s new in the updates for macOS Sequoia 15
shows there have been six updates since MacOS 15.6.
The latest version is MacOS 15.7.4 and ...
"This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users:
(NB: If your Mac is compatible: you could upgrade to MacOS Tahoe 26.3)
If you choose to update (or upgrade) it is aways wise to back-up your Mac first

Trouble-shooting:
See Apple support's article: what to do: If Dictation on Mac doesn’t work as expected
Wondering if you are incorporating Commands, and other dictation features.
Eg: Commands for Dictating Text on MacOS Tahoe:
(or you can choose MacOS Sequoia at the top of the above article):
And see: Commands for dictating text on iPhone - Apple Support
Also: Dictate messages and documents on Mac
Eg says:
"On a Mac with Apple silicon, you can still use the keyboard while you speak; there’s no need to stop dictation. The cursor stops highlighting and pulsing while you type, and then resumes after you stop typing, so you can continue dictating."
This third-party (non-Apple) video gives a good look at how dictation on Mac can work, including using "Voice Control" for Dictation:
