Having an iPad continuously powered for extended periods is not an issue - and will cause no harm - as this is common practice in POS (Point of Sale) and Kiosk applications.

iPad will optimally manage battery charging - and may automatically change its charging strategy by reducing the maximum battery charge level to about 80% of maximum capacity. This strategy is intended to extend the life of the battery by reducing chemical ageing that occurs when the battery is continuously maintained 100% charge. When a “normal” charge/discharge pattern is resumed, charge to full capacity is restored.

Independent studies have demonstrated that restricting charging to only 80% of maximum has little if any impact upon the overall longevity or health of the iPad's battery. There is no need to micromanage your iPad's charging stategies.

Ok Thanks so much I find it annoying to let it go dead then charge it .But my worker said its good to let go dead then charge it then charge it at 35 or 40 percent:

Never intentionally fully discharge a Li-ion battery. If inadvertently left in this state, for any period of time, the battery will rapidly enter deep-discharge - this being a state from which may never recover.

Some very old battery types, specifically NiCad, benefited from occasional full-discharge to recondition the battery and extend its potential lifespan. By contrast, modern rechargeable Li-ion battery chemistry must not be fully discharged.

No, it's terrible advice to let it die. Deep discharging of the battery can stress the battery, cause issues and reduce battery life of lithium batteries, like those used in iPads.

There is absolutely no reason to let it go completely dead in any scenario. Specially if you intend to leave it plugged in.
