Probably the manufacturer's website.

Do note, Firmware updates are applied to the device in question not your computer. Firmware does nothing for your computer at all. It merely updates the software running on the Linkstation.

To access from your computer, you would need to find it in the network assuming it's connected to your router.

Usually by looking in the Network section of Finder. Or by entering "smb://linkstationIPaddress". in the Go Menu in Finder under Connect to Server.

See the following thread. It's a bit old, but the basics still apply for today.

As you already found out in your other thread here:

You mentioned Buffalo doesn't have a macOS app to update the firmware on your NAS. However, going to the Buffalo support page for Downloads, there is a note about macOS for driver & firmware updates....it mentions for macOS 10.13+ you need to download the "NAS Navigator" app from the App Store:

I have no idea if this NAS Navigator app will provide a firmware update for such an extremely old device.

Otherwise, if you want to update the firmware on that NAS, then you will need to use a Windows system to do so assuming even the Windows version of the firmware updater will work with current versions of Windows. You may need to find an older system.
