The screen keeps dimming on my 18.5iOS 15 pro max even though I have everything turned off that would make it dim. Thanks for any help.

Hello~ Just out of curiosity…what’s your battery health %? Settings > Battery > Battery Health. If below 80% you may need a replacement.

Please update your iPhone to the most current iOS.
Because you can’t diagnose an out of date operating system. If you take it Apple first thing they are going to do is update your iOS. It’s a waste of time to diagnose something and update is the solution.
Why would that matter? Is this a bug?
OK, I'm up to date and the screen is still dimming on its own. Absolutely nothing is turned on that would make the screen dim.
Battery is absolutely fine. I just bought this thing 3 or 4 months ago. I dealt with applecare and they did something(?) remotely and it seems to not be dimming anymore, thanks.
iPhone 15 Pro Max was discontinued over 2 ½ years ago. The question is relevant. Are you the original owner? Where did you purchase the device?
