Is there are performance or usage reasons, or onscreen advisories that make you want more RAM? If so, please describe. It is quite common that what a user feels is a RAM issue turns out to be something else.
My M4 Pro Macbook Pro has 24 GB RAM and has never shown being short of RAM.
You can use Activity Monitor (in Applications > Utilities) to see if your Mac is really starved for RAM:
