Issues with Voicemail.

Voice mail issues? This is what i'm experiencing with trying to retrieve voicemail.

I've been having issues with calls and other blips since recent updates.

Fore instance, when trying to listen to a voice mail,... trying to click on the play button, always backs out of the voice mail for a second, then when it reappears I have to try and click on it again. This happens every single time. Same with the speaker button on the voice mail. This happens every single time. Major Bug!!

Thank you for the links and I will use them. However, you are not correctly assessing my issue and perhaps I did not explain it in a way that was more comprehensive.

We are not addressing your issues because, really, we can't. We're still not Apple Support.

When all else fails, back up your phone, then restore it to factory settings using a computer. Then, restore the backup.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings using a computer

Doing it with a computer is important because that way, you get a fresh copy of iOS.

Good for you. Apple automatically updated my phone yesterday to the new OS and that's when all the problems started. Right away after the update is when I started having issues with the OS. So many issues. The only way I could get into my phone was to chat with support and we found the phone in finder and updated again. This appears to have fixed the problem of getting into my phone. But the other issues I'm having persist.

Bad update...

This is a user to user only forum. It wouldn't be possible to diagnose an issue with voicemail on your phone from our sofas. Voicemail is a carrier provided feature, so you could contact your carrier and see if there's perhaps a carrier update you may need to have pushed down to your phone.

these forums are user helping other users like yourself, it's sort of going

to a physical apple store and asking other customers their advice

This is a user helping users with tech questions forum, we are not apple

and apple do not read your posts here

as other have stated, voice mail is a carrier feature which is why it works even if your phone is full off or broken, or out of coverish, all our various carriers around the world handle voice mail differently, my old carrier had an app my current one I have to call some number to listen to the voice mail and I get some sms or mail when there is a new message and such.
