Apps show 2TB available but getting out of space notices

It is showing that I have 2TB available in all my apps, however, I am getting notices that I am out of space and it won't accept anymore items. Please help me with this.

You’re asking about storage from a Mac running 14.2, which in aggregate probably means local storage is insufficient for your current usage. That’s the storage within your Mac, and not iCloud hosted storage.

We need more details such as the exact model of your Mac and version of macOS involved.


To make things easier, please run the third party app EtreCheck and post the complete report here so we can examine it for possible clues plus it will include the exact model & version of macOS.
