Firmware file corrupt on iPhone 12 Pro max

Hello I’m having an issue with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve been trying to download update 26.3 and am having an issue when the update finishes the download in that it says it cant be updated because of a firmware file corruption. I tried contacting tech support but the call ended because the support center closed. I’ve tried to update it directly from the phone and my MacBook Pro laptop with the same message. I’ve restarted the device, deleted the software download and re- downloaded it with the same result. Even reset the phone to factory settings and have the same issue. Has this happened to anyone and if so how was it remedied?

Did you delete the iPhone update file and try again, just to make sure the file download onto your Mac has not been damaged?

The file is located on your Mac in ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates

Did you try to connect the iPhone in recovery mode?

If this does not work, this looks like a hardware issue.
