Ever since I updated my iPhone 15 to iOS 26.3 earlier this week my display will not automatically switch out of dark mode no matter what I do. even hard resets do not put it in light mode. When I switch the display zoom setting to larger text it sometimes puts it in light mode, but it doesn't last beyond the next automatic switch overnight. and I don't want to use the larger text setting.

Update: It wasn't stuck in dark mode but rather my wallpaper on the home screen was black instead of thecustom color setting I created. Turns out there's a known issue to Apple that was fixed when I turned off "reduce transparency" in the accessibility settings.

Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Reduce Transparency > please disable Reduce Transparency, if it is disabled, momentarily enable and then disable again. Restart your device and change your Lock Screen and/or Home Screen etc. You may also need to change the background image or colors.
I am having the same issue with my iPhone 12 Pro after updating to 26.3 last night. But when I go to Accessibility settings, I don't see a "reduce transparency" setting to change. Can any 12 Pro users tell me where this setting is located?
