iPad Pro (A12Z) Magic Keyboard lag after iPadOS 26
After updating my older iPad Pro (A12Z) to iPadOS 26, the typing experience with the Magic Keyboard has become much worse, especially when typing in Chinese. On this device, the hardware keyboard feels less tactile and there is very heavy input lag whenever I use Chinese input methods. This does not happen on my newer iPad Pro with the M4 chip using the same Magic Keyboard and the same Chinese layouts, so it seems related to how iPadOS 26 works on older iPad Pro models.
The delay between keystrokes and the appearance of characters makes it very hard to type smoothly in Chinese, and switching between languages makes the lag even more noticeable. This is not the level of experience I expect from Apple devices, and it feels like support for the Magic Keyboard on older iPad Pro models is being neglected. I would like to know if other users with A12Z iPad Pro devices and Magic Keyboard are seeing similar problems with Chinese (or other non‑English) input after updating to iPadOS 26, and whether there are any known workarounds or settings changes that can improve the situation until a software fix is released.
