CR2 images show no GPS details in Photos
why do CR2-image files show no GPS details in Photos, although the files clearly have GPS embedded?
iMac 27″, macOS 15.7
Can you put a sample .cr3 in some cloud service so we can check it.

sorry, wrong image-file..... Meanwhile I have found out that the issue is the sidecar that ON1 Photo creates and the CR2-file doesn't bring the GPS-data with it when importing into Photos
I will look for one tomorrow. where do you want me to make it available to you?
Does ExifTool show the GPS data?
How did you get the GPS data onto the image. Is it formatted correctly?

It shows up perfectly. Mind you, the GPS details were added afterwards. My Canon EOS 7D doesn't have built in GPS
