iPad Pro, iPadOS 16.7.14. I believe I have a Java problem. I get random websites being blocked … I get a message “cannot find the server” … or similar.
Anyone got a fix?

If you have a VPN App or profiles installed, or a security App such as Norton, these may be interfering with your network stack. If applicable, the resolution is usually simple; if installed, you may only need to temporarily disable or remove the Security App and/or VPN - and then perform a restart of your iPad:
If this resolves your issue, the VPN and/or security App can be reinstated after the connectivity problem has been resolved.

No you don’t have a “Java problem” since Java doesn’t run on iOS. Never has. And for websites, if Java is still in play, it’s running on the server, not your device.
Follow LotusPilot’s recommendations. Also, if you truly are on iOS 16, that could be a contributing factor.
