Touch id or power button not working after update ipad 4th generation ios 26.1

I have an iPad Air 4th generation which I updated to iOS 26.1. After the update, the touch ID and power button are not working. I have also updated to iOS 26.2, 26.2.1, 26.3 but the problem is not solved. I had the same problem with this iPad 1-2 years ago which got solved with the next update. I have reset and restored the iPad many times but the problem is not getting solved. Sometimes even the volume stops working.

It is a common misconception that an iPad (or iPhone) can remain fully functional with damaged or defective physical buttons.

Whilst Accessibility features (such as assistive touch) can be used to augment the User Interface, these features cannot be used as a substitute for physical button sequences that must be used to trigger system recovery actions. Sooner or later, as now, you will encounter a situation from which you cannot recover.

You can arrange repair of your iPad either by (a) visiting the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - or (b) using Apple's mail-in repair service:

Kindly attempt to restart the device. If this does not resolve the issue, I recommend visiting an Apple retail store for hardware inspection.

As I have told that the power key and volume key are not working, in such a situation restarting is not possible.
