HomePod Mini internal ambient sounds producing noticeable skips at random on version 26.3.

My HomePod Mini (newest version) has noticeable audio skips while playing the internal ambient sounds. I’m on version 26.3. It seems when I play white noise the audio will skip at random like it’s restarting the loop even if it’s only been a minute or so.

This is very distracting and disappointing. I switched from my Google Home which had seamless internal white noise. Looking up online it seems this issue has occurred multiple times, and it’s still not fixed?

I’ve done all the trouble shooting techniques: factory reset, unplug and plugging it back in, etc and nothing seems to work! I’ve talked to apple support which resulted in no fix.
