Spain iPad warranty valid in UK?

Devices purchased within EU Member States do benefit from Apple's Limited One Year lInternational Warranty:

However, if purchased outside of the UK, you will not benefit from a UK Consumer protection which applies alongside Apple's Manufacturer Warranty - this providing more robust protection for up to six years from purchase. Aside from the UK offering a superior warranty terms, you should also consider that your new iPad will be subject to import duty and UK VAT when you return.

You will, of course, be aware that the value of your new iPad will exceed your duty-free allowance - and will need to be declared when imported to the UK.

As such, delaying purchase of a new iPad until you return will almost certainly be more cost effective than purchasing outside of the UK - and will benefit from better and more accessible warranty.
