PROBLEM WITH JS and ad blocker

Hei! Navigating in Safari, suddenly the following message appears in a black page: Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker

the site I'm navigating through seems to be blocked, since the message keeps on appearing.

I've tried to reset the setting in the Safary preferences, but the problem still exits.

How can I solve the issue?

Thank you!

Is this one website, or multiple websites?

Do you have any ad-blocker or content-blocker extensions installed? If so, try disabling all.

Please download and run (free) EtreCheck, and share the results to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the Additional Text button that looks like a printed page, and paste and post the hardware and software configuration report here. From that, we can get a little more detail about what is installed and what is running here.

You didn’t mention if you have JS disabled, and/or have an active ad blocker/content blocker.

Change Websites settings in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

As you can read, you can make settings and exceptions (allow/deny) per site domain, so you don’t have to suffer in all sites when one site requires allowing.

If you have the “Website Settings” gears icon ⚙ the toolbar, then there would be fast access checkboxes to alter (temporarily) without going to the Settings menu.

Some sites run scripts to try and detect any of the blockers that might hide what they want to show beyond the regular site contents. They may get that assessment right or wrong. Those sites might even be broken. Consider if these sites are worth your visit.
