I bought MacBook Air 13.6-inch M2 (your MC7X4HN/A model) recently I am looking for skins but they are available only for 13-inch and not 13.6-inch. will it get short if I apply that?

"Skin" sellers are being sloppy. The specs in the Mactracker database (free in the Mac App Store) shows M1 Macbook Airs and older were 13.3 inches; M2 and later are 13.6 inches. Don't buy from any outfits that can't do decimal points.
However, I worry about skins on M-series Macbook Air. They have no cooling fans, relying on convection only to keep cool. They likely use the metal case for heat dissipation.
