My iphone 13 was having issues using applications so when I tried to power the phone off thinking it'll solve the issue, the power off screen is completely unresponsive. I can't open any other apps nor restart it anymore. What do I do?

I've tried doing that but it's still not shutting off.
Are you trying to use the "slider" to power off the phone? If you are, you are not performing the Forced Restart correctly
Quickly press and release the Up button
Quickly press and release the Down button
HOLD the Side Button in for at least 20 seconds and ignore the "slider". Keep holding the Side Button in until the Apple icon appears in the center of the screen, then release the Side button.
