Initially, I had set the charging limit to 80% but the phone charged to random percentages below 80% when charged overnight. I tried changing the charging limit but the phone never charges to this limit, always below. I have now turned off Optimised Battery charging and the phone still doesn't fully charge. I have restarted the phone numerous times but this doesn't change things.

Any thoughts on how to get the phone charging properly?

Turn off charge limit and any fancy enviro charging.

Turn on Optimised charging.

Charge overnight, every night to start the day on 100%

Optimised charging will learn your sleep pattern and eventually charge to 80 then 100

If possible, I could suggest you to reset to Factory Settings, or reset the Settings to normal. If this problem continues to happen, perhaps you can take your phone and ask for help.

If you recommend reset to factory you also need to advise how to safeguard or recover data and photos.
