Premium app features on iPad not available on iPhone

I purchased an app on my iPad. Beginner level. I shows up on iPhone but only parts of it work. I paid for premium level on iPad, but some features are still locked out on iPhone. Both use same Apple account. Both iOS 26.3.

Developer can't help. Apple Tech can't help. I went to phone settings and turned on all the Automatic Downloads features. Any suggestions? Should I name the app for this discussion?

The developer says the iPhone app is unable to send or receive data from App Store which means I have an amount or setting wrong. I've never had this problem with other apps.

Success! Maybe AI has a use alter all.

I got a suggestion to go Settings, Screen Time. Then scroll down to Restrictions, look for Content & Privacy, enter that. Select iTunes & App Store Purchases.

Finally select In-app Purchases and allow that. Then I cycled phone off/on just to be sure.

All features work as on my iPad.

You may need to restore in-App purchases within the app to get the full features unlocked on the iPhone, if this is allowed by the app.

Depending on the App will one where to find the option to restore in-app purchases, so posting the app name may let someone who knows the app more easily tell you where to find the option.

Start by verifying that the account logged in for the app on both devices is the same one.

Even if you have the same Apple Account for the App Store, the account logged in on the app may be different.

Thank you Phil0124. There is a restore button but it only worked for the iPad. The restore button in the iPhone app does nothing. I tried deleting, re-down loading, cycling phone off-on. Nothing. The app is called Morse Mania. A morse code training app. Very clever and works great on iPad. I tried the support page you suggested but still no luck. Thanks for the reply. I think my next step is to compare every possible setting I can between iPad and iPhone. At lest it works good on one device.

When I tap my initials or avatar or whatever at top right, both show the same gmail address. I went to your link.

I searched on internet also. Those ideas didn't work. I will do more research. Hopefully I will get back to you someday. Being able to use it on the phone is more portable, but not a deal breaker. Thanks again!
