iPhone apps reset to home page after switching

When using applications on my iPhone, I have noticed that after switching to another app and then returning to the original app, it frequently resets to the home page rather than remaining on the page I was previously viewing. In many instances, I would prefer to resume exactly where I left off. Unfortunately, there are times when I am unable to locate the specific page again.

This issue has occurred with Facebook, Reddit, Amazon, and PictureThis.

Apps returning to the home page after switching usually happens when iOS clears them from memory.

Try the following steps as listed below:

1. Open Settings ➡️ Apps ➡️ the specific app ➡️ Background App Refresh ➡️ Set this to ON.

2. Open Settings ➡️ Battery ➡️ Ensure that Low Power Mode is OFF.

3. Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ iPhone Storage ➡️ check if storage is almost full.

4. Restart the iPhone to reload memory management.

This helps apps stay where you left them instead of resetting when you switch back.
