When will the next iPhone mini be released?

As others have told you, we are all just users, like you, on this user to user only forum. We have no inside knowledge on anything Apple has planned for the future. But if I was to guess, the answer would likely be never. Apple discontinued the iPhone Mini with the 13 Mini in 2023. In the movie, A Field of Dreams, the famous like was "If you build it, they will come." Apple built it, but not enough people came to buy it. If you were a for profit company, like Apple is, you have a responsibility to build products your customers want in numbers enough to make that product profitable. Since the sales of the Mini phones didn't meet that, Apple stopped designing and selling the Mini. If you are holding off replacing your phone in hopes a new Mini will be released, I would suggest you look at the models they do sell and choose the one which best meets your needs as opposed to hoping a model they haven't sold now in over 3 years is somehow brought back to life. Again, just my guess, but a likely very good guess.

Nobody here can say.

However, when Apple discontinued the iPhone 13 mini, there were articles on third-party Web sites breaking down sales of various iPhone models. Those articles said that the iPhone 13 mini accounted for a very small percentage of iPhone sales, and claimed that Apple believed that the market wanted phones with bigger screens.

All of the phones in Apple's current lineup have screen sizes of at least 6.1" (iPhone 16 base model, iPhone 17 base model).

I’m with you! My 12 mini is really starting to have issues. I’m tempted to replace it with a 13 mini as you can still buy them brand new in box from eBay.

I’ve submitted several product suggestions to apple over the years, I don’t think the 12 and 13 mini’s were a flop, I think their release schedule is the issue. If they went to releasing a mini every 3-4 generations then nearly all mini users would be ready for an upgrade and instead of some buying an 11, some a 12, some a 13 they’d get a huge influx of buyers for an 18 or 19 mini. Plus I think you’d get some of those who bought an SE which hung around long after the 13 mini, I think there are definite a portion of those buyers who did that because it was small, not because it was cheaper.

if you submit another product request to apple, maybe you use some of these arguments!

Hello~ While a mini iPhone fan myself… please use caution purchasing a “ new in the box” on eBay. At the very least you will probably need a new battery and at the very worst…who knows?

Brand new in the box iPhone 13 Mini on eBay? eBay is one of the singular worst places to buy an iPhone. We see horror story after horror story from people who thought they were getting a great deal on a phone on eBay. And given the phone was discontinued over 3 years ago, the chances of getting a brand new one is likely in the negative % range.

There is no such thing as a "new" iPhone sold on eBay at all.

By definition, all Apple products sold on eBay are used.

Apple does not sell on eBay. Authorized Apple retailers do not sell on eBay.

The only way to get an Apple product on eBay is for someone to buy (or sometimes steal) it from a legitimate retailer or directly from Apple first or from someone who did so previously, then attempt to resell it on eBay.

That makes it second hand, gray market, or "used".

It will have no warranty. It's also very possible it will be completely unusable.
