App Store downloads fail after YouTube deletion

I see that the YouTube app has in-app purchases.

Note that if you took out a subscription of some sort, just deleting an app would not cancel the subscription. You would need to cancel the subscription separately, at least 24 hours before its renewal date. If you failed to do so, and your payment "bounced" when the subscription renewal came due, your ability to download apps – even so-called "free" apps – might be suspended until you resolved the unpaid debt.
